Gayle Bender

Gayle Bender, age 59 of Columbus died Thursday October 26, 2023 at her home.

Funeral services are 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at the 1C-The Sanctuary in Columbus. Visitation is 9:00 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the church.

Gayle was born July 4, 1964 in Sioux City, Iowa to Norman and Carol (Wray) Bender. She lived in Sioux City, Rockford, IL, Peoria, IL,  Genoa and Columbus since 1999. Gayles loved spending time with her family and friends, competing in Special Olympics, bowling, dancing and playing cards. She volunteered at various locations including 1C the Sanctuary.
