Gary E. Shotkoski

Gary died Tuesday, March 23, 2010 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident east of Schuyler.

Gary E. Shotkoski was born December 6, 1949 in Fullerton, Nebraska to Alphonse and Dorothy (Stanczyk) Shotkoski. He grew up and attended school in Arvada, Colorado. Gary served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War from January 1968 - November 1972 and then in the Army Reserves until January 1974. On September 28, 1974 he was united in marriage to Barbara J. Dohmen in Colorado. The couple lived in Fremont until moving to Columbus. Gary worked as service manager for Red Country International for many years before going to work as a sales representative for Beller and Backes. He was a member of St. Anthony Church, Perpetual Adoration and the V.F.W. #3704. Gary enjoyed golfing, gambling and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
