Gary J. Krings

Gary died Saturday, November 19, 2016 at his home surrounded by his family.

Gary J. Krings was born July 7, 1960 in Columbus, Nebraska to Herman and Henrietta (Shemek) Krings. He grew up in the Tarnov area and graduated from Humphrey High School in 1978. On October 7, 1983 Gary was united in marriage to Lynn Denkinger at St. Francis Catholic Church in Humphrey. He worked at Husker Co-op, Flexcon and for the past 10 years at Holmberg Heating and Air in Columbus. Gary was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing and gardening. As a child he loved going snagging with Fr. Leonard Ficenec. Gary enjoyed coaching his kids in sports and was their #1 fan. He loved Husker football and the Minnesota Vikings. Gary was a member of St. Isidore Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.
