Garold &Quot;Dean&Quot; Barnes

Garold "Dean" Barnes, age 71 of Columbus died Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at the Columbus Community Hospital.

Dean was born May 26, 1943 in Stuart, Nebraska to Gerald and Mavis (Tasler) Barnes. At an early age he moved with his family to California. In 1968 Dean moved to Columbus and has lived her since. He worked at Behlen Mfg, North American Van Lines, Ag Park and helped his family in Stuart during the hay season. He loved fishing, camping, horse racing and spending time with his grandchildren. Dean also enjoyed working at the farm in Monroe.
