Frederick H. Greiner, age 61, of Columbus died Monday, January 22, 2007 at Creighton Medical Center in Omaha. Services are 11:00 am Friday, January 26 at McKown Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Paul Rowoldt officiating. Visitation is on Thursday from 4:00 - 7:00 pm at McKown Funeral Home. Interment is in Columbus Cemetery.
Frederick H. Greiner was born March 29, 1945 to Hans Greiner and Genevieve (Legenza) Greiner-Fought. He grew up in Columbus. Fred graduated from Columbus High School in 1963. He moved to North Platte where he worked for Union Pacific Railroad for over 25 years. He was transferred to Little Rock, Arkansas before retiring and returning to Columbus in 1998.
He is survived by many cousins and preceded in death by his parents.
