Frank J. Zuroski

Frank J. Zuroski of Columbus died Monday, February 14, 2011 at Columbus Community Hospital.

Frank J. Zuroski was born January 3, 1937 in Platte County to Frank K. and Mary (Zakrewski) Zuroski. He attended St. Bonaventure Grade School and graduated from Columbus High School in 1955. He entered the US Marine Corp and served from 1955-1957. On July 24, 1964 he was united in marriage to Joyce Adams in Papillion. Frank worked for the Van Berg race farms for 22 years, trained horses, worked as the ground superintendent for Ag Park, and worked at Appletons until his retirement. He was a member of the VFW. Frank enjoyed fishing, taking care of his yard, playing cards, Friday nights out with friends, was a die hard Husker & Chicago Bears fan, and most of all, loved spending time with his grandchildren.
