Frank Torczon

Frank Torczon, age 70, of Duncan, died at his home in Duncan.

Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Thursday, January 20, 2022 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Duncan. Visitation is 5-7 p.m. Wednesday. There will be a 7:00 p.m. vigil service at the church.  Interment will be in the St. Stanislaus Cemetery.

Frank Torczon III was born July 17, 1951 in Columbus to Frank and Edna (Stempek) Torczon II. Prior to his birth his father was killed in an accident. He received his early education at St. Bonaventure Grade School and graduated from Scotus Central High School in 1969. He then attended Milford College. He was married to Chris Szatko. To this union Matt was born. Frank worked at various positions over the years but most recently at Island Welding and Supply for several years. He was a longtime member of the Duncan Volunteer Fire Department. He was involved with "Ribfest", "Franko" loved polka music, farming, playing cards, Nebraska Football, family and friends.

Frank is survived by:

Son: Matt (Jamie) Torczon of Pender, NE

Grandchildren: Haylie Torczon and Hayden Torczon

Siblings: Tim Sutko of Dallas TX, Joe Sutko of Omaha and Gina (John) DeBord of Mundelein, IL.

Additional survivors: Ron & Connie Stempek and Karen Terry and many nephews and nieces.
