Frank died Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at the Columbus Community Hospital.
Frank Ciboron, Jr. was born January 4, 1926 in Tarnov, Nebraska to Frank and Mary (Chowek) Ciboron. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII under the 62nd Signal Corps in the Pacific from 1944 - 1947. On June 15, 1954 he was united in marriage to Josephine Purchal in Platte Center. Frank worked for Purina Mills and Wayne Feed until retiring in 1989. He was a member of St. Bonaventure Church, Eagles Club, a Life Member of the V.F.W. Post #3704 and Hartman Post #84 American Legion. Frank was also an active member of the American Legion Honor Guard for 37 years and served over 1000 military funerals. He received the Keith Bryan Award, the highest award an honor guard member can receive.
