Frank Charles Bosak was born February 11, 1921 in Nance County, Nebraska to Walter and Mary (Dubas) Bosak. He served in the U.S. Army from 1942-1945. He was a Silver and Bronze Star recipient. He married Della Volnek on February 27, 1943 in Fort Ord, California. He returned and farmed from 1946-1956. He then moved to Columbus and worked at Behlen Manufacturing for 27 years. In 1981 Frank married Phyllis Nowak Volnek. He was a member of St. Anthony Church, Holy Name, V.F.W., American Legion and the Eagles Club. Frank also volunteered many years for the Red Cross and served on the Behlen Manufacturing Fire Brigade as an assistant chief. Frank also worked on the Higgins Memorial Committee. He enjoyed gardening and yardwork.
In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to St. Anthony School.
