Francis J. &Quot;Fritz&Quot; Paprocki

Francis "Fritz" Paprocki died Thursday, April 25, 2013 at Bryan LGH in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Francis J. Paprocki was born December 3, 1938 in Platte County on a farm near Tarnov, Nebraska to John and Salamae (Cuba) Paprocki. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Michaels Church in Tarnov. Fritz graduated from Humphrey High School and joined the National Guard 134th Infantry at the age of 17 where he spent 7 years with some active time at Fort Riley, Kansas. He worked for the Platte County Highway Department for 10 years and farmed. Fritz then became owner of Paprocki Insurance Agency where he sold real estate and insurance for 35 years. He then retired but kept his real estate license.

On August 29, 1980 Fritz was united in marriage to Kathryn (Prososki) Krzycki at St. Anthony Church in Columbus. He was very involved with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Fritz enjoyed traveling, casinos and collecting antiques and coins. He also was a lover of horses and enjoyed being in rodeos and riding in horse shows. He was a member of St. Anthony Church where he was a past trustee.

Great Grandchildren: Lucy and Elisabeth Wichmer of St. Louis, MO
Sister: Helen Evans of Clarkson, NE
Sister: Geraldine (Richard) Preister of Lindsay, NE
Sister: Mary Jean (Melvin) Schrant of Humphrey, NE
Sister: Dorothy (Don) Schaecher of Omaha, NE
Sister: Charlotte (Ray) Jemison of Columbus, Ne
