Frances A. Zelazny, age 100, of Silver Creek died Monday, April 29, 2013 at Morys Haven in Columbus.
Francis was born January 22, 1913 in Nance County to Charles and Mary (Sturek) Bialas. She grew up on the family farm. Frances married Edward Zelazny in 1934. Along with raising her family she helped her husband on the family farm. Edward died in 1950. With the help of family, Frances continued to stay on the farm with her family. She loved to raise poultry, quilt and visit with family and neighbors. She was a longtime member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church. In July of 2011, Frances entered the nursing home where she resided until her death.
