Florence Koziol

Florence F. Koziol, age 84, of Columbus, Nebraska died Friday, February 15, 2008 at the Columbus Community Hospital. Funeral Services are 10:30 am Tuesday, February 19 at St. Isidore Catholic Church in Columbus. Visitation is on Monday from 3-7 pm at McKown Funeral Home with a Vigil service at 6:00 pm, also at the funeral home. Visitation continues Tuesday morning from 8-10 am at McKown Funeral Home. Interment is in St. Bonaventure Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the wishes of the family.

Florence F. Koziol was born September 22, 1923 in Clarks, NE to Alois and Anna (Zoucha) Kiolbasa. She was raised in Clarks and attended schools in Clarks and in Krakow. On August 26, 1952 she was united in marriage to Stanley Koziol at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Krakow. Florence was a farmwife, helped manage the Rosebud and Edgetowne Motels, and worked at Dale Electronics for 20 years. She was a member of St. Isidore Catholic Church, Christian Mothers, 50/50 Card Club, and AARP. Florence enjoyed sewing, reading, and doing puzzles. She was a great cook and loved her grandchildren.
