Florence Miles Daniels, 86, of Columbus died Thursday, October 2, 2003 at the Osceola Good Samaritan Center. Funeral services are 11:00 am Tuesday, October 7, 2003 at McKown Funeral Home in Columbus with the Pastor Chuck McCarthy officiating. Visitation begins at 6:00 pm Monday at McKown Funeral Home and continues on Tuesday at 8:00 am until service time. Burial is in Roselawn Cemetery in Columbus. Memorials are suggested to the Osceola Good Samaritan Center or to the donors choice.
Florence Miles Daniels was born November 9, 1916 to Frank and Mary M, (Flynn) Miles. She attended Columbus schools and later worked for GTE until her retirement. She enjoyed life, laughter, family, and friends.
She is survived by two sons; Alan Miles Daniels and Dale Lynn Daniels, both of Columbus, one daughter; Maureen "Moe" (Ron) Taylor of Fountain Hills, AZ, one Sister; Dorothy Johnson of Columbus, 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers; Dale and Bud Miles, and three sisters; Francis Hughes, Lois Stukenholtz, and Phyllis Wagner.
