Fae Anderson, age 80, of Columbus, died Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at the Columbus Community Hospital.
Fae was born September 26, 1937 in West Point, Nebraska to Kenneth & Mildred (Fenske) Schulzkump. She grew up in West Point where she graduated from West Point High School.
She married Kenneth Anderson on June 17, 1956 at Grace Lutheran Church in West Point, Nebraska. Along with raising her family she taught grade school, worked at the dry cleaners and helped on the family farm. They moved to Columbus in 1977. Fae then worked at Dale-Vishay and Walmart until her retirement in 2012. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church where she served as a church organist. She taught Sunday school and served as choir director and organist in West Point. She enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, crocheting, playing cards, reading and baking.
