Evelyn died Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at the Golden Living Center in Columbus, NE.
Evelyn was born on March 15, 1914 in Fullerton, Nebraska, to Mike and Josie Kudron. She married William Lusche on August 16, 1957. Evelyn lived in several places during her life, but spent the majority in Columbus, Nebraska.
Vange Lusche was a teacher, waitress, worked at Dales, the Elks Country Club, Husker House, and Keene Korner, drove fuel trucks at the airbase in Lincoln, managed Pawnee Bar, owned the Champlain Cafe, and various other jobs.
She was a member of the VFW and Eagles. Evie loved spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter Madison, fishing, playing Bingo, bowling, going to the boats, traveling, gardening, mushroom hunting, four wheeling on the river, embroidery and quilting, and most recently, feeding the birds at Golden Living Center.
She is survived by son, Jim (Carol) Pollock, Columbus, daughter, Karen (Dave) Hansel, Hickman, NE, son, Vince (Tonja) Lusche, Columbus, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, Sugar the dog, and Rosie the parrot.
She was preceded in death by husband, William, son, Frank Pollock, parents, Mike and Josie Kudron, brothers, Ed, Stanley, and Andy, and sisters, Emma Nickolite, and Vera Bice.
