Evelyn E. Honke, age 84, of Norfolk, formerly of Columbus died Friday, October 22, 2010 at the Madison House in Norfolk.
Evelyn E. Honke was born June 12, 1926 in Exeter, Nebraska to Fred and Veronica (McMahon) Storm. She graduated from Giltner High School. She married Lawrence Honke on December 29, 1948 in Lincoln, Nebraska. They also lived in Grand Island before moving to Columbus in 1952. She worked many years for Kelly Jewelry in Columbus. She was a member of St. Bonaventure Church.
She is survived by:
Daughter: Jeanne (Jim) Cadwallader of Grand Island
Son: Larry (Mary) Honke of Norfolk
4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents,husband: Lawrence, 1 brother: Roland, 3 sisters: Verna, Norma, Erma.
