Ethan Shunk died Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at the Westchester Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Ethan Tait Shunk was born August 1, 1976 in Columbus, Nebraska to Thomas and Patricia (Hladik) Shunk. He graduated from Scotus Catholic High School in 1995 and attended the University of Nebraska in Lincoln. After college he moved to Littleton, Colorado and worked for Arvada Hardwood and later became a self-employed tile setter. He moved back to Columbus in 2007 continuing his trade and working part-time at Paul Davis Restoration. In 2016 he moved to Nelsonville, Ohio with special friend Stacie Rainey and her children.
Ethan enjoyed life and was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and snowboarding. He was a loving and caring person who made friends anywhere and everywhere he went. Ethan enjoyed spending time with family and friends and his yellow lab Sadie.
