Esther B. Zuerlein

Esther died Saturday, August 13, 2011 at the Golden Living Center in Columbus.

Esther B. Zuerlein was born July 16, 1923 in Lindsay, Nebraska to John Henry and Cecelia (Fangman) Preister. She was raised near St. Bernard and married Paul B. Zuerlein on February 20, 1946 at St. Bernard Parish. Esther was a homemaker, Day Care Provider and worked at Dale Electronics for 10 years. Her and Paul enjoyed fishing and camping together. She was a member of St. Isidore Church and the Christian Mothers. Esther loved embroidery, which she did over 100 quilts, canning, cooking, baking and entertaining company. She touched the hearts of her nieces and nephews.
