Esther Starostka

Esther E. Starostka, age 85 of Columbus died Friday, June 6, 2003 at the Good Samaritan Center in Osceola, Nebraska. Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Tuesday; June 10, 2003 at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church. Visitation will be Monday 2-3 p.m. at the Good Samaritan Center in Osceola and after 5:00 p.m. at the church. A Vigil will be held at 7:00 p.m. at the Church. Visitation will continue Tuesday morning 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at McKown Funeral Home.

Esther Starostka was born January 14, 1918 in Duncan, Nebraska to John and Kathrine (Kula) Cyza. She was married to Walter F. Starostka in Fullerton, Nebraska on October 7, 1940. They lived in Duncan, Wakefield and Fullerton before moving to Columbus in 1955. Esther worked at Dale Electronics until her retirement in 1982. She was a member of St. Bonaventure Catholic Church and the Perpetual Adoration.
