Louie died Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at Mory's Haven in Columbus.


Emil Louis Huhman was born March 4, 1936 in Beemer, Nebraska to Emil J. and Theresa (Ortmeier) Huhman. He grew up on the family farm where he helped his father. Louie married Barbara Jean Treadway on June 1, 1963 in Columbus. He was a member of St. Bonaventure Church and the Knights of Columbus. Louie enjoyed fixing cars and going to the horse races.
