Elvena Hoadley

Elvena Hoadley, age 98, of St. Edward, Nebraska died Tuesday, April 19, at the Cloverlodge Care Center in St. Edward.

Elvena Hoadley was born December 15, 1912 in rural Lindsay, Nebraska to Marinus and Nicolina (Knudsen) Christensen. She attended District #63 school. Elvena married Sam Hoadley on October 15, 1935 at Holy Family Church in Lindsay. They had three children. Elvena was a full time wife, mother and later worked at Jacks Cafe and the cafeterias at Behlen Manufacturing and Lakeview School.
Elvena was a seamstress, loved to play bingo and belonged to several card clubs.

She is survived by:
