Elsie died Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at Morys Haven in Columbus.

Elsie A. Lange was born September 16, 1920 in Howells, Nebraska to Dominic and Anna (Vach) Markytan. She attended Howells Public and graduated from Howells High School in 1938. On June 4, 1946 Elsie was united in marriage to James G. Lange at St. Bonaventure Church. She worked at the Adams Cafe, El Fran Cafe, Husker House and also at the Scotus Cafeteria for 20 years. Elsie enjoyed gardening, music and spending time with family. In the past year as a resident of Morys Haven she enjoyed all the friendships she made and considered it her home. Elsie was a member of St. Bonaventure Church, Friends of St. Francis, Monday Night Rosary Group and the prayer chain.

She is survived by:
