Elsie "Toby" Duncan of Columbus died Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at the Golden Living Center in Columbus.
Elsie "Toby" Irene Duncan was born December 10, 1928 in Duchess, Alberta, Canada to John and Christina (Krause) Tobler. She grew up in Canada and came to the Pacific Northwest of the United States in her late teens. On March 10, 1948 she was united in marriage to Ernest Duncan in Phoenix, AZ. To this union 4 children were born. The family lived in various states as they followed the horse racing circuit. They settled in Columbus while the children were raised. Following her childrens graduations, they moved to Michigan. After her husband's death and her retirement, Elsie moved to Richland, NE. Elsie loved baking, cooking, and crocheting afghans for her grandchildren. She was a member of St. Luke's-UCC.
