Elsie Crumley

Elsie A. Crumley, age 74, of Columbus, died Tuesday; May 22, 2001 at the Columbus Community Hospital. Funeral services are Thursday; 10:30 a.m. at St. Lukes Congregational Church located at 21st Avenue and 11th Street in Columbus. The Rev. Nancy Peebles will officiate. Visitation is Wednesday 4-8 p.m. at the McKown Funeral Home. Visitation continues Thursday 9:30 a.m. until service time at the church. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. A lunch will be held at the Eagles club following the graveside services.

Elsie A. Crumley was born September 1, 1926 in Humphrey, Nebraska to Joseph & Mary (Wegner) Bruckner. She attended school in Humphrey. She married Loren D. Crumley on December 7, 1946 in Iowa. She lived in the Humphrey and Columbus area all her life and was a devoted wife and mother. She was a member of St. Lukes Congregational Church of Columbus. She was also a very active 30 year member of the Eagles Club. She enjoyed watching football and baseball.
