Ella Mae Fry

Ella Mae (Hoover) Fry of Grand Junction, Colorado died August 8, 2017.

Ella Mae (Hoover) Fry was born near Long Pine, Nebraska in a two story house and delivered by her father Herbert Hoover March 13, 1916. She was the 5th of 6 children born to Herbert and Catherine (Hayden) Hoover. Ella Mae was a graduate of Kearney State College Teachers College in Kearney, Nebraska as a teacher. Ella Mae married her high school sweetheart Neil Fry in Ainsworth, Nebraska and two children were born: Clarence (Chuck) in 1939 and Sharon in 1942. Ella Mae and Neil were married for 68 years, until Neil's death in 2004. Ella Mae lived most of her life in Nebraska next to her daughter Sharon, until 2006, when at the age of 90 years old, moved to be next to her son Chuck in Grand Junction, Colorado.
