Libby passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at the Golden Living Center in Columbus.

Elizabeth Mae Libby Bardsley was born June 11, 1929 in Harrison County, Iowa to William Henry and Alda Maynard (Swanger) Bradley-Hillyer. She grew up in Iowa and was united in marriage to Bennie Albert Bardsley on June 17, 1942. The couple lived in Iowa before moving to Nebraska and settling in the Monroe area. They had thirteen children. Libby was a homemaker and member of the Okay United Methodist Church and the Okay Ladies Aide of rural Monroe. She enjoyed cooking and baking and was known for her banana bread and birthday train cakes.
