Elizabeth C. Greisen, 93, of Albion, formerly of Columbus, died Friday, September 16, 2005 at the Wolf Memorial Good Samaritan Center in Albion. Services are 10:30 am Monday at St. Isidore Catholic Church in Columbus with the Rev. Joseph Miksch officiating. Visitation is on Sunday evening from 6-8 pm with an 8:00 pm Vigil service, all at McKown Funeral Home. Visitation continues from 8-10 am Monday at McKown Funeral Home. Interment is in St. Bonaventure Cemetery.
Elizabeth C. Greisen was born November 13, 1911 in Humphrey to August and Anna (Ripp) Hamling. She was raised in Platte County. Elizabeth was united in marriage to Ferdinand H. Greisen on January 6, 1930 at St. Anthony Church in rural Platte Center. She moved to Columbus in 1952 where she worked at Dale Electronics for 11 years and at Deano's Diner for 8 years. She was a member of St. Isidore Catholic Church in Columbus, Legion of Mary, Christian Mothers, and was a member of perpetual adoration.
