Elizabeth died Sunday, November 16, 2008 at the Columbus Community Hospital.

Elizabeth M. Cook was born May 5, 1916 in Albion, Nebraska to John and Augustine (Mundschenk) Brickel. Elizabeth Married John H. Cook on December 6, 1933. Elizabeth and John farmed for several years before moving to Columbus. Elizabeth was an active member in the Federated Church. She also belonged to the Eagles Auxiliary. Recently Elizabeth moved to an apartment at Crown Villa. She enjoyed her grandchildren and recently became a great great grandmother. Elizabeth enjoyed playing bingo, word puzzles and correspondance with relatives.. Since her most recent move to Crown Villa she enjoyed the companionship of her many new friends.

She is survived by:

Great Great Grandson: Isaiah Vincent Goerdt of South Korea,
Sister: Cecelia Shafer of Albion, NE
Sister: Dorothaia Sims of Livingston, TX
