Eleanor Zywiec of Genoa, Nebraska formerly of Columbus died Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at the Genoa Community Long Term Care.

Eleanor Zywiec was born September 9, 1926 near Clarks, Nebraska to Andrew and Julia (Micek) Bosak. She attended District #62 School near Clarks. Eleanor married Lonnie Zywiec on May 1, 1946 at St. Peters Catholic Church in Clarks, Nebraska. While raising her family she was active in the Altar Society and served as a lector at St. Rose of Lima Church. The couple lived in the Clarks, Fullerton and Silver Creek area until 1984 when they moved to Columbus. Eleanor was a farm wife and enjoyed helping her children and grandchildren, sewing, gardening and reading. She was a past member of St. Anthony Church, St. Isidore Church and was currently a member of St. Rose of Lima Church in Genoa.

She is survived by:

Son: Clarence (Darlene) Zywiec of Duncan, NE
