Eleanor Alice Farrens of Silver Creek died Friday, January 23, 2015 at Mory's Haven.

Eleanor Alice Desler Farrens was born December 3, 1941 in Omaha to Edward and Nora (Moon) Whitmarsh. She grew up in Omaha where she attended South High School. Eleanor was united in marriage to Loren Desler in Omaha. To this union four children were born, Lori, Jeff, Bill, and Julie. Following Lorens death, she married Scot Farrens, and to this union one daughter Alice Renee was born, along with the addition of three step-daughters, Denise, Dana, and Diane. They lived in various communities around the Omaha area before moving to Texas and eventually to Silver Creek. Eleanor Alice enjoyed crafts, music festivals, and spending time with family.
