Elaine &Quot;Elly&Quot; Hey

Elaine "Elly" Hey, age 75, of Columbus, Nebraska died Wednesday, January 17, 2007 at Immanuel Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska. Funeral Services are 10:30 a.m. Monday, January 22, 2007 at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church in Columbus with Reverend David Fulton officiating. Burial is in the St. Bonaventure Cemetery. Visitation is 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Sunday with a 7:00 p.m. Vigil Service at McKown Funeral Home. Visitation continues Monday morning from 8:00 - 10:00 a.m. also at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the family.

Elaine Hey was born March 25, 1931 in Tarnov, Nebraska to Frank and Rose (Paprocki) Keller. She graduated from Kramer High School in 1949 where she was a drum majorette all four years. She married Don Hey on August 27, 1956 at St. Bonaventure Church in Columbus. Elly worked as a telephone operator at General Telephone and then became the secretary for the general manager at General Telephone in Columbus. She was a member of St. Bonaventure Church and enjoyed traveling, reading and growing flowers.
