Eileen Carnahan of Columbus died Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at Columbus Care and Rehabilitation.
Eileen Carnahan was born January 2, 1930 in Spalding, NE to Harvey and Nellie (Suntken) Marker. She grew up in Spalding and graduated from Spalding High School. Eileen moved to Lincoln, where she worked for the Elgin Watch Factory. On December 31, 1955 she was united in marriage to Loran "Blackie" Carnahan in Albion. In the late '70's they moved to Columbus where she worked at JC Pennys, Kmart, and at Walmart. While living in the nursing home, Eileen sold AVON for 7 years. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Columbus. While Eileen had no children, she helped to raise her Great Nieces, Samantha and Whitney.
