Edward Pallas, 76, died Sunday, November 23, 2025, in Madison at Countryside Home.
Mass of Christian Burial is 10:00 am Saturday, November 29 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Duncan. Visitation is Friday 5-7 pm followed by a 7 pm Vigil service at McKown Funeral Home. Interment with military honors by the American Legion Post #84, will follow at St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery.
Edward Pallas was born June 21, 1949 in Valparaiso, Nebraska to Edward Sr. and Helen (Sladky) Pallas. He graduated from Aquinas Catholic School in David City, NE. He served in the Army as Aircraft Turbo Engine Repairman during the Vietnam war. He went on to work at Shell Valley Motors for most of his career as the Manager of the Frame/Metal shop. He was a volunteer firefighter and EMT in Platte Center, NE. He had his CDL and drove a Semi prior to and after working at Shell Valley. Over the years he enjoyed bowling, hunting, working on automobiles, hobby farming and many other activities during his lifetime. Later in life he enjoyed spending time with family and friends and watching the Husker Women’s Volleyball team compete.
