Edward Buresh, age 82, of Columbus died Wednesday, February 24, 2016 in Genoa.
Edward E. Buresh was born July 3, 1933 in Garland, Nebraska to Edward and Emma (Nemec) Buresh Sr. At an early age he moved to the family farm near Schuyler. He graduated from Schuyler High School. He served in the Unites States Navy during the Korean War from 1952-1956. He then worked as a plumber before returning to school to become a draftsman. He worked for the State of Nebraska Department of Roads before joining NPPD as a draftsman. On August 17, 1960 he married Jane Smith at St. Bonaventure Church. He enjoyed fishing and teaching his grandchildren how to fish. He was a fan of old time country music and western movies. He was a member of St. Bonaventure Church, lifetime member of American Legion and V.F.W.

brother: Jerry (Kathy) Buresh of Iowa Falls, IA
