Edmund H. Loseke was born December 08, 1917 in Columbus, Nebraska to August and Anna (Wilke) Loseke. He graduated from Kramer High School. Edmund served in the U.S. Aircorp during WWII as a mechanic from 1944 - 1948. He married Mary Ann Smolenski on August 24, 1974 at St. Mary's Catholic Church - Pilsno. Edmund farmed near Columbus until retiring. He then worked for the Elks Country Club as a greenskeeper. Edmund enjoyed woodworking. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and the Hartman Post #84 American Legion.
