Edith Broxterman, age 78, of Columbus, died Friday, March 8, 2013 at the Golden Living Center in Columbus.
Edith Broxterman was born July 27, 1934 on a farm, near Corning, Kansas to Willis and Elizabeth (Rethman) Walters. In 1940 she moved to town. Edith graduated from Corning High School. She married Ronald Broxterman on October 3, 1953 in Denver, Colorado. They lived in Riverside, California before returning to Kansas. The couple then moved to Grand Island before moving to Columbus in 1969. Edith worked for Becton-Dickinson for 21 years until her retirement. She enjoyed bingo, embroidery work, puzzles, her grandchildren and spending time with her family.

Daughter: June (John) Bierman of Omaha
Sons: Lynn (Gloria) of Columbus, Gail (Pam) of Grand Island, Jeri of Chandler, AZ, Gary (Alison) of Oklahoma City, OK
Many grandchildren and great grandchildren
Sisters: Dorothy, Mary, Helen, Barb, Wanda, Lela, Janet
Brothers: Larry, Lyle, David
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister: Joyce and grandson: Nathan
