Earl Zybach, age 75 of Columbus died Tuesday; March 23, 2003 at the Columbus Community Hospital. Funeral services are 11:00 a.m. Monday; March 29, 2004 at the McKown Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home on Monday. The Rev. Joseph A. Miksch will officiate. Burial is in the Columbus Cemetery with military honors by American Legion Hartman Post #84 Honor Guard.
Earl L. Zybach was born February 4, 1929 in Columbus to Adolph & Louisa (Labens) Zybach. He attended District 71 schools in Platte County before entering the service. He returned to Columbus where he farmed before going to work at Behlen Manufacturing for over 30 years until his retirement. He enjoyed riding his bicycle, collecting antiques, and gardening.
Earl is survived by:
Sister: Delores (William) Jaworski of Columbus, NE
Nephew: Bruce (Sheryl) Channer of Seattle, WA
Nephew: Craig (Ann) Channer of Seattle, WA
Niece: Lori (Rod) Jarecki of Columbus, NE
He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 infant brother Werner.
