Earl Thomas &Quot;Tom&Quot; Nye

Tom died Thursday, October 10, 2013 at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska.

Earl Thomas "Tom" Nye was born January 26, 1947 in Stanton, Nebraska to Earl and Mary (Johnson) Nye. He graduated from Stanton High School. Tom lived in Albuquerque, New Mexico and Norfolk, Nebraska before moving to Columbus in 2003. He married Koreen Wolfgram on October 4, 2003 in Columbus. Tom worked as a truck driver which was his passion. He recently was employed by Husker Coop in Columbus. His hobbies included playing bass guitar for various bands, NASCAR, woodworking and Husker Football. He especially enjoyed going to morning coffee and discussing politics.

Daughter: Mindee Nye of Albuquerque, NM
Son: Eric Reeves of Denton, TX
Grandsons: Reese, Jensen and Hayden
Step-son: Kevin (Terri) Wolfgram of Columbus, NE
Step-daughter: Kristin Jacobson & friend Dennis McMeekin of Columbus, NE
Step-Daughter: Kara (John) Juarez of Columbus, NE
Step-Grandchildren: Heather Wolfgram, Haden and Christian Jacobson and Sienna Juarez
Brother: Dale (Shirley) Nye of Loveland, CO
