Duane Howard Farrar

Duane Howard Farrar, age 67, of Newman Grove, Nebraska died Saturday July 6, 2002 at his daughter's home in Columbus, Nebraska. A Private Family Service will be held at the Newman Grove Community Building in Newman Grove, Nebraska.

Duane Howard Farrar was born August 15, 1934 in Newman Grove, Nebraska to Howard and Agnes (Mrsny) Farrar. He attended Newman Grove Public School. He married Shirley Ellen Homan on April 30, 1957 in Schuyler, Nebraska. He lived in Milwaukee, Wisconsin 5 years where he worked for Geuder, Peaushe and Frey and Norco Plastics. He then moved to Columbus and worked for Dale Electronics. He then moved back to Milwaukee for a short time and then returned to Columbus and worked for Behlen Manufacturing, Lindsay, Manufacturing and I.B.P. until retiring in 1994. Duane enjoyed gardening, cooking, reading, traveling and spending time with his grandchildren.
