Dorvin "Mike" Burger age 79, of West Point, formerly of Bellwood, died Wednesday, August 6, 2014 in West Point.
Dorvin Mike Burger was born November 26, 1934 in Leigh, Nebraska to Louis and Anna (Stepanek) Burger. He attended grade school in Colfax County and graduated from Leigh High School in 1953. He entered the United States Marines and served from 1954-1957 as an M.P. He returned to Columbus and married Sharon Boss on May 28, 1960. He worked at Saunders Archery for 15 years. He then worked at the Bellwood Coop for 28 years. Upon his retirement, he worked part time at the Columbus Sales Pavilion.
He is survived by his sister: Darlene Ternus of Humphrey, brother: Marvin (Barb) Morris. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife: Sharon, brother: Ralph, and sister: Mary Lou Boyd.
