Dorothy Spradley

Dorothy Spradley of Columbus died Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.

Dorothy Spradley was born November 9, 1931 in Columbus to Wilford and Amelia (Riebschlager) Snyder. She grew up in Columbus and graduated from Kramer High School in 1950. Dorothy married John Spradley on May 30, 1951 at St. Joseph Church in rural Bellwood. Dorothy worked for Becton Dickinson before going to work cleaning houses before retiring. She loved the outdoors where she enjoyed flowers and her garden. Dorothy was a member of St. Isidore Catholic Church since its inception where she was also a member of the Christian Mothers.

Daughter Beverly (Leo) Hellmers of Columbus
Daughter Sandra Heckman of Omaha
3 Grandchildren: Bryan, Kevin, and Emily Heckman
1 Great Grandson Hayden and 1 more on the way

She is preceded in death by:
Parents Wilford and Amelia Snyder
Husband John Spradley
Sister Donna Hall
