Dorothy died Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at the Nebraska Heart Hospital in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Dorothy Marie Lustgraaf was born March 22, 1940 in Columbus, Nebraska to Bernard and Mary (Loeffler) Petermann. She was married to Jack Palen. She later married Vern Lustgraaf on January 16, 1998 in Columbus. Dorothy worked for the Columbus Community Hospital for 19 years until retiring. She enjoyed playing bingo at the V.F.W. on Sundays
