Dorothy Kontor

Dorothy died Tuesday, June 24, 2008 at the Midwest Covenant Home in Stromsburg.

Dorothy was born April 5, 1922 in Duncan, NE to Tony and Agnes (Stopak) Starostka. She grew up on the family farm in Polk County. In June of 1942 she was united in marriage to Edmund Kontor in Silver Creek. Dorothy was a farm wife and worked at Becton Dickinson's for several years until her retirement. She was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Silver Creek and a member of the Altar Society. She enjoyed crotcheting and flowers.
