Dorothy M. Brian, 92, of Columbus died Wednesday, August 27, 2003 at Beverly Health Care in Columbus. The family will be having having private services at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Omaha.
Dorothy M. Brian was born May 15, 1911 in Oskaloosa, Kansas to William and Luella Goucher. She grew up in Kansas and graduated from high school in Kansas City. She married Clyde Wayman Brian in Kansas City. They lived in Kansas City before moving to Omaha. She lived in Omaha until 1993 when she moved to Columbus following her husbands death. She was a homemaker and and also helped refinish several of her and her husbands rental properties in Omaha. She was an avid gardener and was a sponsor trainer for a horse riding club.
She is survived by two daughters; Dorothy (George) Ryck of Columbus and Dian (Paul) Wischmann of Lincoln.
Four Grandchildren
She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, one brother, two sisters, and one half-sister.
