Dorothy Bialas of Fullerton, formerly of Columbus, died Wednesday January 22, 2020 at Valley View Assisted Living in Fullerton, Nebraska.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Monday, January 27, 2020 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Columbus. A CDA Rosary will be held Sunday at 2:30 p.m., and Visitation is from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. at McKown Funeral Home. Vigil service is at 5:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Visitation will continue Monday morning from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. also at the funeral home. Burial will be in the St. Bonaventure Cemetery.
Dorothy was born November 26, 1922 in Fullerton to Charles and Mary (Sturek) Bialas. She grew up on the family farm. She worked for 22 years at Becton Dickinson, and was a member of the B.D retirees. She was a member of St. Bonaventure Catholic Church, St. Bonaventure Guild, Catholic Daughters of America, Legion of Mary and Franciscan Missionary.
