Doris Twila Wallis

Doris Twila Wallis, age 78, died Wednesday, March 2, 2005 at Creighton University Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska. Funeral Services are 11:00 a.m. Monday; March 7, 2005 at the McKown Funeral Home in Columbus. The Rev. Bev Hieb will officiate. Visitation will be Monday 9:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery in Creston, Nebraska.

Doris Twila Wallis was born May 3, 1926 in Humphrey, Nebraska to Fred J. and Dorothy (Jansen) Henry. She attended school in the Creston area. On February 23, 1946 she was united in marriage to Basil E. Wallis in Columbus. Except for a brief time in Boise, Idaho, Doris lived most of her life in the Creston and Columbus area. Her later years were spent in Iowa.
