Doris Geiser

Doris Geiser, age 92, of Columbus died Sunday, September 22, 2019, at Prairie Village in Columbus.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday September 26, 2019, at Peace Lutheran Church in Columbus, Nebraska.  Visitation will be Thursday morning from 9:30 - 10:30 am at the Church.  Interment will be at Roselawn Memorial Cemetery in Columbus.

Doris A. Novak-Geiser was born on October 12, 1926, on a farm in Dodge County, Nebraska to Claus and Grace (Tiedemann) Stoltenberg. She grew up in Dodge County and married Edwin Novak on March 8, 1946 in Hiawatha, Kansas. From this union three children were born. In 1958 they moved to Platte Center where she lived for over 50 years. Doris worked for Becton Dickinson nearly 30 years. Following the death of Edwin, she married Warren Geiser on May 6, 1978 at Grace Lutheran Church in Platte Center.  Doris resided at Prairie Village in Columbus for the past eight years. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church.
