Donald Wagner

Donald D. Wagner, age 79, of Columbus, died Sunday, August 27, 2017 at the Brookestone Acres in Columbus.

Donald D. Wagner was born June 1, 1938 in Elgin, Nebraska to Leonard and Helen (Lundgren) Wagner. He grew up in Elgin and graduated from St. Boniface High School in 1956. He served in the United States Army. Don was married to Hazel Runton. To this union Donald II was born. Upon his discharge he lived in Denver where he worked for IBM. Don married Helen Sleva Dohmen on August 6, 1977 in Northglenn, Colorado. Don and Helen lived in Longmont, Colorado from 1985 - 2004 before returning to Columbus. He was a member of St. Bonaventure Church. Don enjoyed the Denver Broncos and Old Milwaukee Light.

Sister: Elaine (Karl) Frederick of Winside, NE


He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Helen, brother Wendell Wagner, and 2 sister in infancy.
