Donald Miller

Donald Miller, 64, of Wausa formerly of Columbus, died Friday, October 12 at his home in Wausa. Funeral Services are 10:30 am Tuesday at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church in Columbus. Visitation is on Monday from 4-7:30 pm at McKown Funeral Home in Columbus with a Vigil service at 7:30 pm Monday, also at the funeral home. Visitation continues Tuesday morning from 8-10 am at McKown Funeral Home. Interment is in St. Bonaventure Cemetery. Following the burial there will be a luncheon at the Church.

Don was born Sept 23, 1943 in Columbus to Harold and Sophie (Pachunka) Miller. Don, a retired Nebraska law enforcement officer, is survived by his wife Susie Miller of Wausa, NE; Daughter Jodi Rezabek of Tobias,NE; 6 stepchildren; Stacy Connealy of Wausa, Michelle Nuccio of Washington, IA, Kevin White of Sioux City, IA, Tanya Brogren of Wayne, NE, Shelly Grahleer of Pender, NE and Rhonda Thoener of West Point, NE; 2 grandchildren and 14 step grandchildren; Mother, Sophie Miller of Columbus; Brother Larry Miller of Columbus, and many nieces and nephews. Don was very proud to serve the State of Nebraska as a police officer for 33 years and if not on Duty, you could find him bow hunting or entertaining family and friends!!! Don was preceded in death by his Father Harold Miller and his Sister Lillian Wennekamp.
