Donald Marker

Donald E. Marker, age 63, of Columbus died Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at the Columbus Community Hospital following a courageous battle with cancer.

Donald E. Marker was born November 8, 1947 in Spalding, Nebraska to Harvey and Nellie (Suntken) Marker. He received his education in Petersburg. He worked on a ranch west of Petersburg before moving to Columbus. He married Carol Afrank in 1967 in Columbus. Don worked for over forty years with Lyman-Richey-Central Sand & Gravel.On August 5, 1983 he married Linda Vondra Mullinix in Columbus. Don enjoyed traveling and loved to dance. He enjoyed working with his hands,spending time in his shop designing projects and spending time with his family.
